Martyn Element, Founder and President of Element and Associates, is primarily focused in sourcing and pursuing new business ventures globally and has attained a proven track record of securing financing for these opportunities.

Mr. Element’s network has been cultivated extensively while in his position at Element and Associates. He has developed strong working relationships with specialized funds from around the world as well as, high net worth individuals for private and public equity financings.

Prior to forming Element and Associates in the late 1980’s Mr. Element worked in the public financial markets in Canada. Previous to this he was extensively involved in the food and beverage business in Great Britain and Canada both retail and institutionally.

 

Johan Grandin has over 18 years experience working with public companies and has been successful in raising capital for venture companies.  During his time as an associate at Element & Associates he has been responsible for raising over $50 Million in financing for various public companies. Johan has also acted as officer and director for various public issuers.  Prior to this Johan worked as a process engineer for 3 years at H.A. Simons a Vancouver based engineering company.  He has a Master of Science in Engineering Physics (Computer Science and Business Economics) degree from Uppsala University in Sweden.

 

Robert Harrison, vice president and food & beverage industry specialist for Element & Associates has an extensive background in marketing, sales, and general management.

Robert’s career includes a wide range of experience in new product licensing and introductions.  Following a successful tenure with Neilson Dairy, where he rose to senior vice president and general manager of the dairy frozen division, Robert established Robert C. Harrison Food Brokers Inc.  In 1997, he successfully secured the Canadian license for Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream of Vermont and created Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd.  DAD, as it was called, obtained compatible licenses for additional brands, building a portfolio of high quality frozen items.

The company launched marketing efforts throughout Canada for Cadbury’s frozen desserts, Movenpick Ice Cream from Switzerland, and Tropicana frozen products.  In 2003, Robert accepted the position of president and CEO for Dairy Fresh Farms Inc.; he and his team successfully introduced the “New Generation” milk beverages in Canada, using a patented process originating in Australia.
